Klava was formed with the
following objectives:-

To promote athletics
amongst veterans in order to keep them fit both mentally and physically.

To organize, sponsor and
participate in all veteran events at state, National and International
levels.

To get the Association
affiliated to the National Association and to all IAAF ( International Amateur
Athletic Federation ) recognized Associations whether local or overseas, in
order to promote friendship, goodwill and understanding amongst veteran
athletes.

To raise, collect and
receive money through subscriptions, donations, contributions, legacies,
grants whether in kind or monetary, with the approval of the Commissioner of
Sports, so as to fulfill the objectives of the Association.
